After losing her hair at the ages of 9, 14  and again at 28, Sarah Christian has experienced the emotional and personal journey of hair loss for over 30 years. Experiencing first hand the distressing nature of hair loss - the feelings of loss and questioning one's personal identity, asking questions with no answers, wondering if a wig will be noticeable or fall off - the search for a natural, beautiful and comfortable solution began.

Her mission was simple - to provide women (and kids) with only the very best human hair, through a range of luxury wig and hair topper solutions. They needed to be soft, natural, luxurious and stylish. This wasn't something available in Australia at the time. Travelling overseas to meet with makers and ensuring only the highest quality pieces, Sarah turned this vision into the BHB you see today.

In 2016, Sarah opened her first The BHB in Sydney and in 2022 wanted to expand and help more women so made the move up to the Gold Coast to open up the second store in Burleigh Heads. Sarah now has an amazing team of in-house hair stylists who she hand picks with the very best skills and experience. Each and every one of our stylists are fully trained in-house in our range of wigs and toppers, so the pieces are fitted, styled, cut and coloured to absolute perfection. She wanted to create an all inclusive, luxury experience for women (and kids) to come in, relax and most importantly enjoy and feel good about the wig or topper shopping journey.

The BHB is a calm, warm and welcoming space, where we take the time during a consultation to get to know you and what you're looking for. Carrying a range of both Luxury Virgin European and Premium Remy pieces - The BHB is able to provide the perfect piece for you and your needs.
