The Beautiful Hair Boutique Wigs for Women Grant is fully funded by our founder, Sarah Christian.

Sarah would love to help women with financial hardship have access to a beautiful wig.

Our Wigs for Women Grant is open to all applicants with medical-related hair loss as a result of chemotherapy or radiation treatment, alopecia, female pattern baldness, trichotillomania and other chronic illnesses that may result in hair loss.

WIGS FOR WOMEN GRANT

The Beautiful Hair Boutique's Wigs for Women 'Hardship' Grant is available to all women who have medically related hair loss in Australia.

​If there’s anyone who knows the positive impact the right hairpiece can make, it’s Sarah Christian. Having suffered with alopecia for over 35 years, Sarah has ridden the emotional rollercoaster of what it feels like firsthand to suffer hair loss and the stress and anxiety it causes women. 

As a result, her quest to find the perfect hairpiece has led to the creation of Australia's No.1 Luxury Wig + Topper Boutique, The Beautiful Hair Boutique.

Sarah's desire is to give back to the hair loss community and gift human hair wigs to women who are in need of a wig, and simply cannot afford to purchase a quality piece of their own.

The grant is not means-tested; it is designed for women who need it most and are unable to afford a beautiful wig.

Application Criteria

  • The application must be completed and submitted online via our Wigs for Women Grant application form below.
  • One wig equalling one grant can be approved only once per client.
  • Proof of diagnosis of medical hair loss is required.
  • Wig is up to the value of $3500 AUD.
  • Not available for wigs not purchased from The BHB.
  • Social media participation is required.
  • Available for Australian applicants.
  • Available to women of all ages.
